The admins are totally unhelpful, so honestly, steer clear of this site—it's turned into a real nightmare.

This site is the greediest I've ever seen. They charge for every single post and keep altering the fees each month. It's like someone out there has too much cash and doesn't know how to spend it, so they just keep raising prices.

I posted a review on a forum about how I got ripped off by Warren Gregoire. I ordered a brand new Decca Jubilee for $3000, but what I received was used. He didn’t want to take it back, and the cantilever was all messed up. I had to send it to Presence Audio for repairs, which turned into a six-month ordeal. My intention was to warn others not to buy from him, but since he’s a sponsor of the site, they took down my comment. I just canceled my subscription... If I could, I’d give them a zero rating... and Warren Gregoire a solid minus ten.

I too fell victim to electronics online limited, bought an Xbox Series X, and now that site is gone. Audiogon.com took my cash, so they’re in on it too. Thankfully, I paid with my credit card, so I can get my money back! 😡

I just got ripped off for £391 on an Xbox. They operate through a site called appliancesstore co uk, but when you make the payment, it actually goes to Audiogon.com. None of the phone numbers are functional.

Based on the discussions in Audiogon forums, I'd advise steering clear of this site. It feels like the inmates are in charge here. If you belong to the 'my ears never lie' group, you can freely insult, bully, and slander anyone who disagrees with you. This behavior seems to be a favorite among the older users. But if you try to apply some common sense or call out obvious shilling, good luck—your posts will vanish and your account might get axed.

It's like the audio version of a far-right, anti-science conspiracy hub. Just plain wild.

Recently, someone attempted to chat about rap music. After facing a barrage of overtly racist comments and arguments that didn’t favor the old-timers, Audiogon shut down the threads (I think there were three). Can’t have a discussion where the old guard looks bad!

Things might be alright for them now with the world getting richer, but with their user base being predominantly older and male, the younger folks won’t tolerate the selective censorship, anti-science views, and outright jerk behavior.

And those threats mentioned by someone else? Sadly, they’re no joke.

This seller is peddling these "Audiovon Ear Buds" for more than $70, while they actually go for under $7. The real name is "inPods3" - check out the attached photo. We ordered a set, and when they got here, only one of the ear buds functioned. It's been over a month now, and this seller is ignoring phone calls, texts, and emails. STAY AWAY from this company... CONSIDER THIS A WARNING.

I paid £560 for a PS5 console through audiogon.com, but it never showed up in the UK. Total scam, this company!

I bought a JVC LT-40CF890 Fire TV edition on September 1st, but I haven't heard a peep since and still no TV. I ordered it from Gadgets Pro, but the cash is already out of my Credit Card. The website has vanished, and I found it on Amazon and the web. This is ridiculous! Better call your Card Company. Honestly, it doesn't even deserve a single star.

I just got scammed by a place named ActiveMart. I purchased a fridge freezer, and when I looked at my credit card statement, I saw that the cash had been taken out by Audiogon.

Back in the day, audiogon was worth your cash, you got what you paid for. These days, the site is loaded with problems, and their PayPal setup is a mess. They took my money!

What used to be a trustworthy resale platform has turned into a totally unprofessional and unethical business and community.
